Just what Miss L wanted for Christmas, a new baby sister | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Following on from my last few return visits to previous clients, I had yet another one this week  – to meet the newest arrival of H & J, and big sister L – their newest arrival.  Originally due on Cup Day, she did not want to miss the excitement and so was a week early.   Miss M was an utter dream to photograph, she dropped off nicely without much fuss at all, and allowed us to capture some wonderful memories of this special time.  Miss L was a bit shy at first but once she saw how much fun her lamb was having taking photos, she was only too happy to join in.  Hope you enjoy this sneak peek H & J, it was wonderful to see you again, and share this time with you.  I will let you know when the rest of the gallery is ready

Meet the divine Miss M, a new sister for Mr J | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

It is always so enjoyable to go back and meet a new addition to the family, and see how much a previous newborn client has grown, and that was what I was lucky enough to do last week.  I could not believe how much Mr J, who I photographed as a newborn at the start of last year had grown, he has the most gorgeous hair and cheeky smile, and I was blessed to meet his new little sister, Miss M.  She had initially decided she was going to stay awake for us, but with a little persistence and some nice warm air, she could not resist the siren sound of sleep and soon drifted off allowing us to get some wonderful shots that I am sure will soon be gracing the wall next to Mr J’s shots.    Hope you enjoy this sneek peak V & D, and will have the rest ready soon.

The twins have a new brother | Melbourne child photographer

Last weekend I was lucky enough to catch up with Miss H & Mr O, who I first met when they were 4 months old.  They now have a new brother, Mr D, and I was lucky enough to photograph all of them.  The twins have grown even more adorable, and certainly made me work hard for their smiles, but it was certainly worth it, and as for Mr D, he kept teasing us with his smile, he is so cute.

First the gorgeous Miss H & Mr O

and cheeky Mr D, he is such a happy little guy.

Hope you enjoy the sneak peek A & J, and I will have the rest of the gallery ready for you shortly, thanks for such a fun session.

11 days new – Miss E | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Last week I was lucky enough to meet Miss E and her parents – Miss E had been in no real hurry to arrive, but as all babies must, eventually she did.  Was wonderful to feel the love in the air, she certainly has everyone wrapped around her finger, including me I must add.  Whilst curiosity had her staying awake, eventually she went off to the land of nod, allowing us to capture some wonderful images of this very fleeting time in her life.  C & M, I enjoyed meeting you all, and hope you enjoy this little sneak of our session, will let you know once the gallery is ready.

And here she is, the apple of her daddy’s eye, looking so peaceful & gorgeous – unlike 10 minutes earlier!!!

3 weeks of sweetness – Miss M | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

I was lucky enough to meet Miss M this week, who certainly made us work for the shots and then some.  She was quite happy to be awake, but firmly resisted our efforts to get her off to sleep, however finally she did bomb out, just long enough for us to get some great shots of her.

Hope you enjoy the little sneak peek mum & dad, will let you know when the gallery is ready.

Mr L – look at that smile and those eyes | Melbourne child photographer

Meet Mr L, a beautiful little 2 month old boy, who had the most wonderful smile, and those eyes – wow will he be a lady killer in about 17 years time!!!!

He gave us some lovely little smiles, and really played up for the camera – he was a real little ham, and I loved it all.  It is moments like this that make me really love this job (oh and for the first time in ages, nothing to wash after the session, another bonus!!)

Hope you enjoy the sneak peek M & C, the galley will be ready soon

Mr J – a new year, a new life | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

What an incredible way to kick off 2010 sessions.  As an awesome start to the new year, I was lucky enough to share this special time with the proud parents of Mr J.   He was just so sweet, and even when he was awake, was more than happy to be photographed, but our persistence in trying to get him to sleep paid off and he finally decided watching what I was doing was less important than catching up on some much needed rest and he dropped off.  He had the most beautiful fleeting little smile too that played around his little face, and lit it all up.

Hope you enjoy this little sneak peak mum & dad, and the move went well, will have the rest of the gallery ready soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Well, so hard to believe that it is Christmas tomorrow, although my boys are both well and truly ready for it; in fact they have told me they will be in bed by 7.30 tonight, as that will make Santa come quicker they think.

I love this time of year, it is so magical, a time for reflection on what is truly important in life, and for new beginnings as well as endings.

Many thanks to all my wonderful clients this year, and I hope to see families back to update their shots, it will be so wonderful to continue seeing those little newborns blossom into the ones and twos.

My new years resolution – to keep on with the Flylady program (flylady.net), and have my home definitely out from under the clutter I have helped it accumulate – 2 rooms down so far, and amazed how much better it all is already.

Take care out there this holiday season – the best gift you can give your family is to still be there, so just slow down and  get there safely

And lastly, as I have to share a photo, here is my lovely present to the whole family, Leila, the Devon Rex, a cheeky minx if ever there is one, who has the whole family wrapped around her paw.
