My favourite model

Before my children came along, I had a real teddy bear fix, and was lucky enough to acquire this fellow, a Steiff bear by the name of Henderson.  Steiff bears are the most gorgeous hand made bears which come from Germany, and are very addictive to collect., in fact they have a whole section of their own on Ebay.  Once my family came along though, my bear collecting had to end.  Henderson is the perfect model though when no one else is around, he never complains about any poses, and is always happy to bear it (sorry about the bad pun there, but it just had to be said).  SO without any further ado, here is my favourite model, Henderson, in a great little hat I found on Etsy.

And of course, then along came Mr J, to see where Henderson had gone, so he happily agreed to pose for a few shots too with his friend……………

photographers kid syndrome (pks)

Blessed is the willing child who lives with a photographer – they know that they will always be on call when mum wants to test out a new technique, and there are no other victims subjects, on hand. So found out my youngest anyway, when I wanted to test out a spot in our yard.

the captive audience

He was happy to pose away, as per usual, but eventually it got too much even for him. I am sure if he was older, he would have been cursing under his breath, but luckily for me, I have a few more years yet I am sure.

but sometimes, you have just had enough......... is she done yet

I am working on some exciting new plans for my studio at the moment, including the introduction of various album options, with either coffee table style printed books, or a more traditional leather type album available to chose from when ordering session prints – a great way to display your portraits. I am very excited about these items, and as soon as I receive my samples, I will have sneek peak on here. Stay tuned!!!!
