Mr Z – 2 week old boy with a smile | Melbourne newborn photographer

Good to be back on the air again, computers urgh!!!! Anyway, after a change of ISP, I am back again.

Up into the ranges I met Mr Z and his parents, who were pleased to show off the latest addition to the family. At first Mr Z wasn’t sure he wanted to miss all the excitement of the photoshoot, but eventually he succumbed to the heat, and gave us plenty of time to get some beautiful sleeping shots. He even gave the most darling little smile that will warm his mums heart when she sees it, I am sure. So happy to meet you all, and the gallery will be up in a few days. Enjoy this sneak peek.

3 week old beauty | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Last week I met Miss A, who has her mum and dad totally captivated, and on meeting her, I can certainly see why. At first, she was not having any of our attempts to woo her back to sleep, but with a some persistance we were able to persuade her to ignore all the exciting goings on, and to go to sleep for us.
Enjoy the sneak peek B & J, I will let you know once the gallery is ready.

A six month old smile | Melbourne baby photographer

Young Mr P had me with his very first little smile – it just lit up his whole face, mind you he did make us work quite hard to get them, usually managing to sneak them in while we were changing things around, and then got a cheeky little look about him while he poked his tongue out at us.  But he gave us some beautiful expressions, and I am glad I was able to capture them.  Hope you enjoy the sneak look L, will let you know once the gallery is ready.

Miss P – an early present for mum | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Last week I was lucky enough to meet Miss P and her mum – Miss P came a little earlier than intended, obviously was eager to get out and about into the world.  But I am always more than happy to squeeze in newborn sessions,  She was so obliging, going to sleep very nicely for us for a couple of hours just after I got there, so I was able to try out a couple of new props, and we even caught a little smile hovering there once or twice.  Hope you enjoy this little sneak peek C, the rest of the gallery will be ready soon.

Mr R – who didn’t want to miss a thing | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Meet Mr R – who had made sure he got all his sleeping done before I got there, as he didn’t want to miss a minute of what was going on during his photo shoot.  Even when his eyes started getting heavy, he was very determined to fight it off.  I am just betting mum got a decent rest later that day, as I am sure he slept very well afterwards.  In spite of his lack of wanting to sleep though, we still got some great shots.  Here is a little sneak peek J, and I will have the rest up in a gallery for you shortly.

Miss S – 1 month old sweetheart | Melbourne Baby Photographer

This week I met Miss S and her family, who are absolutely smitten by her (and when you look at that gorgeous little face, it is easy to see why).  She strongly resisted sleeping but despite this, we were able to get some great shots.  Hope you enjoy these mum & dad, will let you know when the gallery is ready.

Have I said how much I love newborns – welcome Mr L | Melbourne newborn photographer

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to meet C & V, and do a maternity shoot for them, so I was eager to meet their new little one.  Baby L was beautiful, but clearly he didn’t think I was working hard enough, so wanted to make sure I was, sending me home with a wee bit of washing.  Ah, the joys of newborns!!  He made us work hard to get him asleep, but we got some great shots when he did finally nod off.  Hope you enjoy the sneak peek C & V, and will have the gallery ready shortly.

Miss S – who was very comfy where she was, and in no hurry at all | Melbourne newborn photographer

Welcome to the world Miss S – she was reluctant to arrive, but I am sure mum and dad are so pleased that she finally did make her appearance.  At first Miss S was very keen to check out what was going on, and showed no sign of any sleepiness, but eventually sleep got the better of her, and we were able to get some beautiful shots.  Will have the rest ready soon S, in the meantime enjoy!!

Miss C – Oh I do so love a sleeping newborn | Melbourne Newborn Photographer

Last week I was lucky enough to meet Miss C, who was sweet enough to give her mum a very quick labour, even if it was Easter Sunday.  Forewarned that she should sleep well, she did indeed live up to this, and with only a murmur or two, she let us capture some great shots, before she decided enough was enough.

Amongst the many things I had brought to the session, she was only too happy to model a new cocoon I had made, and from her expression, she definitely seemed to like it.

I also got to try out an awesome new wrap I had bought from one of my favourite sellers on Etsy.com, madaboutcolour (for anyone who has not yet found it, Etsy is a very dangerous site to your wallet, as it has all sorts of great newborn hats, wraps etc, and as such is very addictive),  and was able to try this shot, inspired by a shot from one of my favourite American newborn photographers, Blair Blanks (her website is blairblanks.com – check her out).  Hope you enjoy these T, I will have the gallery ready soon.

3 1/2 week old beauty | Melbourne baby photographer

This week I met Miss G and her family, who were referred to me by another client (thanks B), and had the opportunity to capture some beautiful memories of her and her mum.  She made us work for the shots, and I think we definitely wore her out. I am sure she slept for hours afterwards, but she was so very interested in what we were doing, I don’t think she wanted to miss a minute.  But we did still manage to get some great shots of her sleeping, hope you enjoy these S, will let you know once the gallery is ready.
